I went to a Ulster bank pass machine and was told 'I could withdraw €€€ amount' so I did. Turns out I could not. Im overdrawn by €€. And now 'IM' gonna have to literally pay the for stupid app and banks errors in irregular fees. Previous version had faster communication, and better lay out. If this happens again and it most likely will I'll have to complain to someone's face at my local. So Answer that!! 😠 P.S deleted app - overdrawn again.
Can I ask why does it take sooo long to update the account ?? It's causing ppl to get over charges !! Or maybe this is the plan after all. I'm v frustrated with this app. I used to love n give 5/5 but now it's lucky to get 1/5... It was perfectly fine without updates. 😠. It looks like to me that YE R HOLD MY MONEY N I CAN'T USE cos ye think I have a standing order coming up. It should b up to the person to have d money In d back not holding funds as it's MY MONEY. PLEASE CHANGE..
Trying to set up a new payee. I have the IBAN in an email. The app doesn't allow you to paste in the IBAN, and if you switch apps, you get logged out instantly. So I now have to write the IBAN down, and then type it in, which is very error prone. Why? Please make the app useful and usable. Allow us to switch to another app (other bank apps do!). Allow us to paste into the IBAN field (other banks apps do!).
In response to " it can take 3 days for contactless payments to be debited from account" Why are these payments so slow to be subtracted from my available balance? As my card is authorized by UB in a shop for the purchase of my item.As I mentioned before this app was almost perfect up to 4 or so months ago.With very fast balance and available balance updates.All the 4.44 euro (overdrawn fee) add up fast and also give me a bad credit score.Thanks UB ,20+ years with you at this stage! Get it together and give us the great app you used to have
This app is very useful for everyday banking easily through your phone so I wouldn't be without it, however, it is so frustrating that UBs accounts/systems are so slow to update! I wouldn't trust that I have available what it says I have. Please update your account system UB. My husband banks with AIB and his app is always correct and up to date with his current balance.
Saved payers not all showing since last update. They are from same bank and they have the same issue. Edit: it's already available online just not showing in the app like it was before all others show just not the ulsterbank user.
