I've been using this app for years and it just keeps getting better and better. The developer is constantly updating the app to support new cameras and new protocols. I can't recommend this any more highly if you want to monitor your home IP Cams, or others around the world. Not only that, there's a companion app that lets you view the cams from your android wear smartwatch. I recently switched to the Samsung Gear s3 and there is a similar app but it is horrific! This app rocks! Thanks so much!
The best app I could find for ip cam viewing, recording and motion detection. Works with all my camera including the cheap no name brand ones. Only complaints are that there doesn't seem to be support for setting up notifications through an smtp server (instead you have to use the creators built in server which is limited to a maximum amount of emails unless you buy more and also may raise some privacy issues for some users) also the UI menus are a bit confusing at times.
Linksys WVC54G (MJPEG) & Series, STILL ! Broken after Several updates... You'll get your stars back when ya fix it. Its been 3 months sense it did. Emailed dev but NO RESPONCE !
Fantastic app. Whenever I have a problem I write the app creater an email and he responds in less than 24 hours with a fix.
Fantastic ip camera monitor and control ! I use it with 4x foscam's perfectly. Scheduled controls would be nice (see support forum). But A1 as is.
Don't believe the 5 stars anymore. All for older versions of the app, and most don't have any comments. Comments for the free version are mingled with the Pro version, etc, making for a very misleading rating. Camera support is all they ever seem to consider, but the app has some really big problems if you have anything short of unlimited data. Definitely not for those of us on Verizon... As to the details... 1) Crappy network management. It's still connecting over 4G when in the background. Perfect if you want to chew a huge hole in your data plan... 2)Did it again last night - ate up half my data plan while sitting on the living room table well within range of my WIFI network, and with WIFI enabled on my phone. It was all of 10 feet from one of the cameras it's configured to connect to. Absolutely no control in the app to manage connectivity - it is hard-wired to use 3G/4G LTE over wifi, even if you're in range of wifi and you have your phone configured to use WiFi whenever it is available, no doubt about it. This app, simply put, is designed to steal your money and put it in the pocket of your phone company, without even asking. So Mr. Chou is likely making something on the back side even when you pay for the Pro version to get rid of the ads. You wind up paying twice to get something worse in the end. Despicable. I strongly recommend everyone delete this app - it has gone way downhill over the years...
