I have successfully used it once in Seattle, that experience is the only reason I'm not giving it one star. My other attempts have been thwarted by the app hanging and waiting for 30 minutes to confirm the reservation. On another occasion it told me that my reservation was confirmed and when I got to the car the app said that it had been reserved by somebody else. Very annoying. The one time it worked the car was great.
My first ReachNow rental in Seattle went without a hitch. The only thing I maybe wasted time with was figuring out how to enter my pin, but now I know. My car was where it said it would be and it was just as easy as following the instructions!
This app sucks. I've never seen a single car be available in all of Brooklyn. Completely useless until they get more cars. I was hoping for a car2go like experience but with cars that will seat 4. Fortunately I joined when the membership fee was being waved. If I would have paid to look at a screen with no cars available I would be extremely pissed off. Removing this app. Do you ever plan to have actual cars o your car sharing app?
Car2Go is a better service in every aspect, especially since they have their new fleet of full size cars. GPS for this is spotty, unlocking is cumbersome or simply doesn't work at times, and the app itself doesn't work at all at times. Seriously disappointed with how much frustration this service has caused.
6/13/17, I've updated my review three times now. Always one star. I finally got a new phone and thought that would solve some of the issues with this app, but no. Slightly better with each update but there is some overall flaw with this app. It is slow & laggy. I also use car🚗2 go. That is an example of a great app.
Using the ReachNow app beta with their Ride service integrated. I hope they get this app rolled out ASAP to all cities, with or without Ride service, because it's a game-changing experience: * Runs stable and fast, even in beta. * Smooth and consistent startup; no longer hangs - sometimes for minutes - loading a promo offer or a rating prompt for your last trip. * Car info box can be closed now, giving you full screen map access when you want it. * Map flags now list the distance to any car selected, not just those within a mile or so. * Map doesn't constantly recenter on your location when you're trying to look elsewhere. * App no longer assumes you want the closest car; it routes where you tell it to route, and holds that choice until told differently, rather than forcing you back to routing to the closest option. * Reservations now confirm quickly - less than 5-10 sec. as a rule. Leaving a star off right now until I get a better feel for the in-app experience and rental session management capabilities. If they're consistent with the things I've observed so far using the beta, however, I think the RN app might finally be over the hump. (The usual caveat applies: Apps like this probably will never play well with high-maintenance users or those with older and underpowered hardware. )
This update includes bug fixes and stability improvements.
