ReadMe! has helped readers find their pace and place since 2014. v2 is the biggest ReadMe! update yet: a rebuilt reader, a calmer library, and four focused ways to move through a book.

YOUR BOOKS STAY READABLE

Import supported books and documents, keep them in your local library, and read them normally for free. Each imported book includes 3 active minutes to try ReadMe!'s focused reading modes. The timer runs only while a Premium mode is actively playing. When the preview ends, your book stays open at the same place and remains readable normally.

PREMIUM, WITHOUT LOCKING YOUR LIBRARY

Premium unlocks unlimited Spritz, BeeLine, Focus, and Read Along use with your imported books. It does not take away normal reading, imports, bookmarks, or your local library.

LIFETIME STILL MEANS LIFETIME

Existing Lifetime Premium buyers retain full access to all current and future Premium features. Restore through Settings or the Preview complete screen. If automatic restoration cannot find your purchase, ReadMe! support will help.

SYNC WHEN YOU CHOOSE

An account is optional. Sign in with Apple, Facebook, or email when you want cloud library sync. On-device v1 books migrate locally with bookmarks and reading position, and the new sync system stores exact reading anchors instead of an approximate percentage alone.

Subscriptions are available monthly and yearly. ReadMe! shows the exact localized price and duration before purchase. Payment is charged to your Google Play Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Google Play Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel in Google Play Account subscription settings.

BeeLine itself is wonderful, but this app is horribly made. It crashes if I swap tabs for longer than 1 minute, it takes several minutes for BeeLine to actually be applied (and often it doesn't work at all) and the app is generally slow and clunky. Definitely not a product worth paying for. If I had literally any other way to get access to a BeeLine reader, I'd take that instead. Update: Beeline no longer works on this app. The app freezes when you try to apply it.

Notwithstanding all the bugs, I like this. Best single software package for learning to speed read. Use Spritz to overcome sub voc. Use Focus to learn to read word chunks. Use beeline for speed reading normal text or when you're on a bumpy road. On the other hand, the basic reader lacks advanced options standard on virtually every other reader app and yet is still prone to crashing when loading some books. Beeline is far slower to load than it should be. The Spritz interface is far more basic than it should be (why can't we see the surrounding words for backtracking). The Focus reading app is harder to complain about but can't manage to figure out how to proceed after reaching pictures or chapter endings (it would also be nice to be able to see more of the surrounding text). Overall, it seems like the developer lacked time, budget, or talent to remove major bugs while also having to deal with modules built by other companies like Beeline who themselves poorly optimized their own software.

The user experience is not intuitive and it's difficult to accomplish even the most basic tasks. There is a long intro/tutorial, only to lead you to some sort of mini magnifying glass thingy that you are supposed to drag across the screen. The mag icon isn't even that big and it's hard to use. More importantly, what's the point of it?! It does not help with reading. It's just in the way. Terrible.

What’s new

Reading modes now start quickly, even the first time you use them in an imported book.

The screen stays awake whenever the reader is open, so hands-free reading is uninterrupted.

BeeLine is remembered separately for each book for Premium readers and sample books.
