Tries to forces you to register, then tries to force you into an auto renewing subscription. Complete garbage, super shady. Stay away.
Forced to not only register, but wait for a "confirmation email" before I can even *try it* to see if I'll like it? No thanks. Fbreader still wins...
Was good, and Spritz is nice, unfortunately no longer usable as it constantly interrupts reading to beg the user to buy premium.
Included features are a moving target. Free version used to include Spritz, and the store page even still says it's included. Now at the end of each page it stops and tells me I have to subscribe. I might consider subscribing if not for the outrageous asking price. I'm not going to pay $60 for an e-reader app, and I'd be surprised if anyone else would either. Reply to developer: I have already moved on (The app called Reedy seems excellent). Not going to pay you every month 10% of what I pay for Netflix for a reading app that does little more than most others, and less than some. Seriously, $60?!? Why not $299? Why stop there? Go up to the price of a nice laptop. Sheesh. You never explained why your app in Spritz mode now insists on premium subscription even when reading online. As I write this, online reading is listed as being included in the free version, yet it isn't. The only reason I can see is greed. This is how you lose users, and once we're gone you're unlikely to get us back.
After you jump through all the hoops it's just a normal ereader. No sprtiz.
This was my go to app but now it's literally un-usable
