Mobile application within the scope of the European project Lousada FitCity, co-financed by the European Commission, which helps users to practice physical exercise; understand the difficulty levels of each available route and record the routes taken; to obtain support on how exercises should be done according to each sports equipment and through Augmented Reality; and get tips for a healthy lifestyle.

The application also includes content adapted for users with specific needs, such as people with visual impairments and deaf people.

With the LousadaFITCity project we intend to use existing spaces in the municipality for routes, easily identifiable (with a color nomenclature related to the level of difficulty) and accessible to everyone (including people with reduced mobility). Along these routes there are outdoor training stations (street workout). These stations and routes will be supported by the Lousada FitCity application, which uses augmented reality technology with an interactive experience that helps users make the most of using the equipment.
