This Free App can find the latest recorded location of freight where the Consignment Note was created using our Web Application in Redberry Consign at www.redberryconsign.com.
It first has to be registered by scanning the bar code below the name and address of the Shipper or Consignee on a Redberry Consignment Note. A security code is sent to the email address listed for that Shipper or Consignee, all data being held in a secure data center in Atlanta. If the code input on the phone matches the code generated then the logo on the consignment note will appear on the phone, together with a summary of all freight in transit to and from that Shipper or Consignee.
This can be expanded to a list of shipments, and then a single shipment can be selected to obtain the latest address or satellite location, including a map. This information can also automatically be emailed back to the shipper or consignees designated email address. This is a setting on the phone, Send Email Confirmation.
The app will automatically notify the user if their freight has been collected or delivered, in the case of delivery it will show the POD signature also. An confirmation email to the Shipper, Consignee and the person who created the Consignment Note is also sent from the Data Center on collection or delivery.
