If you use your perks points they still charge you I called support they say you will be refunded in 7 days by the time 7 days had gone by rhis happened 2 times called to tell them they never refunded it and they said to blame the bank I call the bank and the bank says they never refunded the money so I call redbox back and they try to tell me my bank lied to me and they will not fix it.. I know this was redbox and not the bank because the bank would show a pending transaction. If they had attempted to give me a refund I told them this and they basically called me a liar and told me id never get my money... They just lost this customer
This app lets you reserve the new movies that are out on DVD and bluray and it comes it handy to do so because movies sell out on Redbox. I also liked that they give you two free movies when confirming email and when you get the red box app. I like just showing up swiping your card and the Redbox takes out your reservation. You can also buy some movies for a low price. It awesome for movie enthusiast.
The newest version of the app won't let me sign into my account so I can't even use it to reserve movies...it just says "Unable to sign into your account". I know my password is entered correctly as I was forced to change it online because I can't sign in there either!! The only way I could get into my account is to change my password online (which takes forever!) Then when I'm signed out again and try to login with my new password I can't unless I choose "forgot password" again...VERY frustrating
Way too many permissions and privacy violations. Why do you need access to my bluetooth, photos and contacts. And you cant use the app until you update!!!! I've been using this app for years but im uninstalling immediately! Redbox you are clearly loosing many customers over this.... Listen to your customers. Or at least explain yourself as to why you need access to all of that!!!!
The layout is very easy to use. However, my biggest issue is that the app does not search for my nearest redbox even though I am signed into the app. I find this very frustrating and it results in me not renting a movie since I am unable to see what is available at my nearest location. I have the same issue via the web which is a recent problem. Customer service has been of no service to me. I guess they don't want my business.
I enjoy being able to see ratings from previous customers before heading out to rent a movie. However, unable to view movies near my home location when I'm working the app only gives nearby kiosk information
