Web site is better Good news! Redbox undid their permissions grab, so the app is back to being respectful of your privacy. Bad news! The app searches for your location every time you try to reserve a movie, and if it times out (as it often does) it won't let you reserve the movie. So now the web site is better than the app.
It used to work great but now it alwAys says"sorry, Redbox has stopped working"every time i try to put in my password. I've reported it several times and nothing has been done about it. I used to love this app. Rented hella movies with it but not anymore. It doesn't work and no one will respond to my requests.
Love the convenience! But they should have a 5 minute grace period for returns before getting charged another day. There is only 1 box near and there is always line when returning movies. I have received charges for them being 3 minutes late ridiculous!!!
I like reading reviews and I like seeing what's coming, also pleased with the rental prices, hope they don't go in cost. I do like to buy the used movies, but the cost has gone up on some of them that I can go buy a new one for a few dollars more. I think that needs to be adjusted. But overall fun to rent and good people customer service.
Redbox was great - WAS! Today it stunk! 6-10 frozen reports when trying to reserve 2 DVDs. Then app said movies were available at a box 2 minutes away - WRONG! Not Available. Called Redbox CS "I'm so sorry!" Here's a promo code - NOT, after my first CS call was dropped.
Why does this app need permission for my personal files to work? I am sick and tired of apps needing permission to view my pics and contacts. This needs to stop
Have never been able to log in through the App. Constant Sign in Failed. Please Try Again error. This is on an S7 Edge. Signing into the Website is no issue, just this app.
