If you want to scroll for a long time through Reddit and you click on an external link or view a picture it works but when you come back your back at the top of the list you scrolled down so you have to scroll down again. As well as I wish it would open imgur app when a imgur link was tapped and I also wish that you could choose between viewing in browser or using direct link as sometimes gifs don't work otherwise it's very nice to run and easy to use on phones
Revising again. Do the people who work on this app even use reddit? It's absolutely impossible to navigate even medium sized threads. Minimize a thread with long click takes you to the top? Great for threads with hundreds of comments! Clicking on a comment in your profile takes you to the thread but not the comment. Great, I'll just scroll through hundreds of comments to try and find mine. Oh, a thread with 3 dozen minimized conversations just randomly reset and they're all expanded again and they're in a different order now... This is not a 4.6 star app. The web version of the app is much, much better in more important ways than the ways this is better. The content is easy to see, the much more important discussion of the content is just shat on by the developers. I'm adding two stars because you add an option to browse all instead of popular
So first off Reddit is great. I love the appearance of this app and the design of how stuff looks. But you can't even save any pictures to your phone! You can't fast forward video either. The app likes to be slow on bringing up pictures before selecting them. Good app but very not well executed for what it is and wants to be. Please fix this soon!
If you like Dank memes, sexy reposts or craving off topic comment threads, you've come to the right place!! This Reddit community has it all! Drown yourself in the best of the internet, everyday!! Don't be afraid of downvotes, it'll just make the upvotes that much sweeter.Your the king of your castle, but all your neighbors have better castles. That's Reddit. Lurk,Post,Copy, Repeat. You've got mail.
I'm coming from using Bacon Reader Pro. While Bacon Reader is great, the notifications are a bit of a mess. This works great for what I need, the only features I miss are knowing how much comment karma you have and an easier way to read through comments and minimize them. I miss the little color coded comments and a way to collapse all children comments. Otherwise it's great.
Minor usability issues plague my daily experience with this app. Some infrequent crashes and instability also contributes to a 3 star rating. It's not bad, but needs work. For a concrete example, expanding nested comment replies resets my scroll to the top of the Reddit post view, forcing me to scroll all the way back down to find the comments I wanted to read. Little annoyances like that keep cropping up.
* r/all and r/popular are now both accessible under My Communities
