About this app

With The Library app, you always have your library close at hand. The app makes it easy to use the library and helps you keep track of your reservations and loans.

With The Library app you can:

- find and reserve books and other materials
- get inspiration for new reading experiences
- see if a material is at home in the library and where you can find it in the library
- get notified when your reservations are ready to be picked up
- keep track of when you have to hand over your loans
- renew your loans
- see the library's address and opening hours (comment: this point only applies to the Norwegian version of the app)
- get easy access to your library card

To use The Library app, you must be registered as a patron at the library. Contact your local library if you are not registered as a user.

Not all libraries are available in the app. Contact your local library if you can't find it in the app.

What’s new

If there’s a queue for an item, you can now see exactly how many people are ahead of you. We’ve also given the search function a boost: choose whether you want to browse through large, vibrant covers or prefer a more detailed list view.
