Guys: This game is wonderful. Reminds me of the days of the Sega Megadrive! It would be an historic success then. ** I found a bug: In the first level I fell purposely in a cliff after meeting the wounded warrior and as I kept pulling left, the kid walked all the way under the floor. Thanks for the love you put in what you do
I am spending way too much time trying to jump from platform to platform without dieing to have any fun. It's just way too difficult from the start. In games like super mario brothers they start you out easy and progressively get harder and even then provide you with power ups to make it easier on you.
It very much reminds me of a old-school DOS platformer by Apogee. Monster Party and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 come to mind. I love the control as well, they are perfectly spaced for a touch game. There are a few bugs, but nothing that takes away from the fun. I absolutely love this game.
Really like this game. Reminds me of my days on NES and Genesis. Old school 80s fantasy art, classic gameplay and simple story make this a great nostalgia trip. Only thing I could ask for is more detailed control customization. This game isn't without glitches though. Sometimes enemies will walk through walls a little bit, that's what I've encountered so far. And trying to connect to Play Games leaderboards causes the game to crash. Nothing that terribly disrupts gameplay though.
Nice game, I have just finished it. There are some bugs like mobs physics (sometimes the walk on the air) but, globally, it's a nice job. Tip : Add more levels and insert different mobs with different skills, actually, they are graphically different but they are the same thing as abilities
The minimalist retro pixel art is wonderful, but the gameplay is unfortunately less so. The map designs are uninspired and get far too unforgiving far too soon, the gameplay is slow, object interactions feel a bit loose, and the spear jumping mechanic is a big mistake - on a phone it's just tedious and annoying. "Sword of Xolan" and "The East New World" are very similar games to this but both are better executed.
