‡ Note that for a PDF file to import it must contain the text of the script, not just pictures of the text. Some PDFs contain scanned images of the text rather than the text itself, and the app can't import these files as it needs the actual text to work with.

Ratings and reviews

This was amazing. I have used this app several times to memorize numerous lines. It is amazing how quickly I memorized my last piece. After one day of listening on repeat and understanding the jist I managed to have it nearly entirely memorized by the next night. Though it was only 15 or so lines it was still wonderful (because I needed it memorized the next day) lol I will admit set up takes a minute but really depending on how to set up it's beneficial to you anyway.

EDIT: Received help from the developer right away! I guess my phone wasn't recognizing my swipes. Fixed it, and it's working great again! This used to be a great app, really helped me out. But I wish I could download the earlier version, because the new update doesn't work for me at all. I've tried every button and every gesture, and I can't edit my lines like I used to to correct the way it imported from the pdf, or even rename the script. Real shame, since it worked just fine before.

I've just downloaded the app. Even from my brief exploration, I'm optimistic and excited. I discovered years ago that I memorize most efficiently via hearing the scene rather than reading it over and over, but I don't particularly care for running lines with another person. I just like being more in control and not being a burden on anyone. Different digital recorders aren't necessarily designed to function well for this task. Not to mention the cost and fragility. This app seems perfect!

Added a setting for Playback Speed, to allow the whole script to be sped up or slowed down

The Speed setting for each character now controls the playback speed of both recordings and digital voices for that character
