doesn't work i have the bios files in place and everything. every game i try to play, first off it shows the dreamcast startup logo, then gives me a time and date set screen (in Spanish for some reason even tho i've tried multiple bios files from different regions), and after i click ok on that, it sends me back to the game selection browser.
Wow Very impressed. Can't believe I'm playing PSO on a 50 dollar amazon tablet. Took a little time setting up. One thing that got me was I was looking for folders to put bios files but they weren't there, had to create them myself, once I renamed the bios files and placed them in directory was good to go. Runs great kudos to the developer cool stuff.
Simply: PERFECT But even perfection needs improvement eventually. While this is one of the most impressive emulators, it DESPERATELY needs to be able to run in the background. Once I try to multitask and switch between apps, the emulator restarts - losing all current progress. Only that, and this app will be perfect, even though it's already STELLAR!! ---For those who are having problems: READ, follow directions, and/or time to update your device, if this emulator is not working for you.
Doesn't work with Nougat? I have the correct bios files in the correct place, but no dice. When booting a game or even the bios on its own, the screen rotates to landscape and then just hangs indefinitely. I remember this app used to work flawlessly in the past, but since this hasn't been updated in over 2 years, I don't expect we'll see any fixes going forward.
It's a decent start I was able to get it working on my Droid Razr HD after I found the right bios file and a compatible game being Soul Reaver. Thankfully there is a list out there of what does and doesn't work, just google it. Hope to see a save state option real soon and of course better compatibility for more games. I want to play games that are Dreamcast exclusive like Record of Lodoss War and Rainbow Cotton. Keep up the work, thanku.
For an Alpha, This is Nothing Short of Amazing! I'm on a Kindle Fire HD running CyanogenMod 11 with a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor overclocked to 1.5, GPU overclocked to 512 MHz, and 1 GB of RAM. This emulator runs Sonic Adventure 2 at an average of 20 FPS, which is playable, but not quite enjoyable. I'll test more games later on. But for something in its Alpha stage, I'm blown away by the performance! I can't wait to see this further optimized. Keep up the good work!
