Ratings and reviews

I have used Remitly for a long time, lately pick up locations that are saved in my profile have been changed to companies I've never heard of, so when I send money they give me a transfer number that cannot be used in my regular pickup location. I had to call twice to customer service to get it fixed and they didn't help. I would like to get a representative that can speak English without a thick accent and can understand what im trying to explain instead of giving me the old transfer number.

EXCEPTIONAL customer service! If you're new to this or if it's one of your first times, just reach out to them, they will help you. It does get complicated to send money from one country to another with exchange rates and very strict delivery rules. Sometimes you have to match up IDs, sometimes you have to match up phone numbers, sometimes it has to be both. It's very complicated for some situations and can get messy and frustrating quickly. The customer service at Remitly is SO helpful!!!

the application is decent. had issues getting transfers thru and will tell you there customer service is horrible. people are poorly trained and seem are dealing with many people at same time. quick response from developer but does not resolve issues. one core issue is that as it would need to assistance is built on a chat it but the knowledge base is not good enough, but the flow doesn't let you reach a person for a while. and when you do person is poorly trained. DO NOT RECOMMED.
