Hunting Camera Manager is an easy-to-use application for managing hunting cameras.
It provides convenient support for any model of hunting (also known as Trail, Deer, or Game) cameras that can send pictures and videos via email and accept control via SMS commands.
The application automatically receives images and videos from your camera’s email and displays them in chronological order in the built-in photo gallery, which features:
- smooth image browsing via screen swipes
- zooming to examine scene details
- playing of set of still pictures as a video, which is very suitable for
TimeLapse or in case of plenty false alarms
- adjustable brightness and contrast for better visibility of night images
- calendar-based filtering to view media from specific dates
- easy deletion of unwanted (e.g. blank) images
- automatic cleanup of old images to free up device storage
- sharing images with others
- editing images via external editors
- saving your best shots to a "Favorites" gallery
- convenient access to a user-friendly SMS control interface

The app includes a predefined set of SMS commands for the 10 most popular trail camera models, and also allows manual configuration of SMS commands for any other hunting camera.

Ratings and reviews

An extremely useful and versatile app that is well supported by the excellent staff who are quick to respond with help as well as to tweak it to work with newer customers. More obvious help would be useful, but the responsiveness of the support staff easily makes up for it. And don't get put off by other reviews, it is a technical app doing some clever things in the background that will take some patience to setup. Download and enjoy.

Only allows connection with SIM rather than LAN so couldn't use with tablet as desired. (Amended: Contacted developer who helped me around above issue using cloud login. Interface does make it seem SIM is needed but then it's a pretty powerful free app that can be tailored many ways)

Didn't work. I have a Campark trailcam and I didn't see it in the list. So, I selected other camera. Nothing. No notification to tell me it's not compatible. The app appeared to stay in the settings and I could not get to any other part of the app.
