It can take them 48 hours to confirm, which is useless for urgent bookings. Rather deal directly with Budget or Avis etc. Calling the support line just kept me on hold for 25 minutes with no help, just a waste of calling costs.

SCAM ALERT. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS APP. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY. They offer cheap deals but when you arrive at the rental facility, you have to shell out extra 100 quid if you don't have a credit card with at least 1000 pound limit. We were left stranded in an airport as they will not let you book the car. You have been warned.

LE PRIX indiqué lors de la RESERVATION était INFERIEURE que le prix indiqué sur le site de BUDGET. CEPENDANT, la voiture qui m'a été attribue de BUDGET COÛTE MOINS CHER que le site BUDGET. UN BON CONSIEL: Louer directement des sites tels que BUDGET, AVIS...car vous n'aurez pas de surprise et ça coûte moins cher! APP NOT ADVISED. You can be very dissapointed. If you book directly from BUDGET, AVIS...It will be cheaper and you will be have not be dissapointed
Took so long to confirm our booking. Ended up canceling. Had to go to the place we were going unsure if we were gonna get a car at a reasonable price
After reserving a vehicle from Hawk through Rentalcars, kept receiving emails from Rentarcars suggesting to upgrade the class of vehicle by paying a slightly higher amount. Decided to pay for a higher class vehicle, got a confirmation from Rentalcars which i verified with their staff. But when i went to collect my car from Hawk, they didn't have even have the vehicle class i reserved for and i was forced to take a vehicle of lower class and the staff claimed i had to email Rentalcars to complain or ask for refund because he couldn't do anything about it since it was a 3rd party agent that I booked from. When i emailed Rentalcars about this, they then claimed i had amended my booking twice and had downgraded my vehicle class after i upgraded and paid for the higher class. Seriously? Who would do that? If i did downgrade it (as what they said), why would the Hawk staff acknowledge I had booked the correct higher class vehicle but was apologetic for not being able to give me the vehicle i had booked for? Rentalcars is utterly irresponsible in handling their reservations and subsequent customer relations. I will never again use their app or their website because you end up paying alot more for something you obviously won't be getting.
