very useful; more so with older phones, but still so, a great redundancy, and i like that it can kick off to a sim card, cloud or networked system. specifically sim card though. would like more options as to specific choices and selections for scheduling, but the options are good, make no mistake; and there are root options which is probably where i need to go next. a great app

This only works to transfer applications, WITHOUT their data. All other functionalities (SMS, MMS, app data, etc.) fail without any helpful error message. It even fails for Note Everything ans MLO, both of which are officially supporting MyBackup. I either get "corrupted ZIP file" (it is NOT corrupted! I can manually open it just fine!), or I get an empty list of successful transer... I'm giving it two stars because allowing me to easily transfer all my apps, keeping their same versions, was very convenient, even without their data. That's a start. For the rest, it is worthless. Waste of time and money. For the record, I was transferring from rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 to non-rooted S10e.

This is actually a great up. It backups up everything that is important, without needing root access, its actually amazing how comprehensive it is. I also LOVE The MAC and Windows My Backup apps that will find the android pin, and allow one to backup. I have Backed up 3 phones so far with ease, a Pixel 3, Heiwei P20 and a OnePlus 3T, all went flawlessly. I actually backed up the OnePlus 3T, Wiped the Heiwei P20 (After it was backed up with this), and restored the OnePlus 3T Data back to it for my wife, so that she could use the newer phone. It restored Everything, flawlessly, and even the data inside the APPS. I love how it separates the Media, and Data backups, this is brilliant and makes a lot of sense. You can also restore individual files or do a FULL restore, you can choose. One last note, When you restore the data, be sure for a SHORT period of time, to make the MyBackup Pro app, the default SMS/MMS client, this will ensure the data backup restores EVERYTHING, after it's done, you just make the android Text Messaging app, the default again, and you're good to go. You could literally loose your phone with this app, go get a fresh phone and restore EVERYTHING. You would loose nothing. Backups to GDrive no logger work, but don't fret, just schedule your backups locally, and then set up RCLONE to move those backups to the cloud! As well, run a cron job, or a windows scheduled task, to move those backups on a regular bases, you could also do this with Google FileStream. Cloud backups solved! Enjoy! This app has been a life saver! One more note, I have tested backing data to Mac, Windows and the Cloud.
