Does what I expected This does what I want. I can see deals that are nearby, I can bring up my restaurant certificates and use them when I want; There's no need to have the paper copy with me. It's simple enough to log in and quite clear on how to operate the app. Some of the 1 star reviews surprise me. Of course you can't walk into the restaurant with a handful of certificates and expect to pay near nothing to feed a group. This is a deal to get you to try the restaurant, not to give out free food to the masses. I didn't even have to read the terms to know this. The once-a-month was a surprise and I would have like to know this in advance but, to be fair, you can exchange the certificate for another restaurant. I haven't done this. I hope there aren't unnecessary restrictions. Surely if a discounted meal is the goal, there would be other restaurants to choose. So, fine. I'm happy that I downloaded this app.
Lacks features It's really best for showing the restaurant your voucher or finding somewhere closeby quickly. You can't exchange, use discounts, and gc's must be reedeemed EACH TIME prior to making a purchase even if you are signed in. AND, there are no tutorials teaching this. I had to just play with it to figure out why my credit wasn't showing.
Works fine Wow, there are a bunch of idiots on here who don't know how these things work. Read the terms, dummies. It's not a scam. They're basically coupons and there's nothing wrong with that. I buy them when they're discounted so I usually end up paying $2 for a $10 certificate on a $20 purchase. I'll take $8 off a $20 meal anytime.
It's a nice app/website I find it funny that everyone is getting all huffy. I have never bought a certificate off here. I take surveys and get credits and have turned them in here. I have never had issues. And yes, there will be some minimum value. You can't get it for free! I get 50% off of my bill... I am perfectly happy with that. :)
Poor app The idea is OK and I was able to use a certificate when I went out. The bad side is the app is poorly designed and doesn't work like it should. The fact that it sticks on screens even when you change tabs, it doesn't default back to the search screen. The search for restaurants on the map should show results anywhere you zoom in on and not just the max 15 mile original search they limit you to!!
Ok I like using the computer better for this site. The app tends to flash annoyingly at the bottom of the page making it difficult to read. Yes, there is a minimum purchase required, but it still helps you save money, especially if you take advantage of the specials to purchase the certificates at a discount. It's also a way to explore restaurants in an unfamiliar area.
