Unusable. Keeps defaulting to two people right now. I live in DC, and looking for brunch for six in May garners only seven results. REALLY????
Continously defaults to only 2 restaurants 60 miles away from me. Doesn't search. Horrible app.
How many bad things can I say about this app? No ability to filter?!?! Slow as hell. Practically forced to use mobile app even if I'm sitting at my desk. Very, very difficult to search by area. Continually defaults back to where I am now, not where I will be later. (I travel a LOT.) IMPOSSIBLE to search 2 months into the future, which is essential in hard-to-book NYC restaurants. SO much worse than Opentable from customer standpoint I don't even know where to start about how BAD this app is. Maybe ok in smaller areas with less competition, but in NYC it sucks. Usability is near zero! Presumably owners like it because it's cheaper, but I am much less likely to eat at a place using RESY than OT.
Totally stupid. I responded to a friend's invite and it said I should install the app to see the guest list. I installed the app and had to go through laborious sign up flow. And nowhere can I find the reservation I responded to! Not ready for prime time. Deleted!
Resy has some really great restaurants using their system, but they don't seem fully aware of how bad Resy is making them look. Here's a short list of issues: * Resy does not start the day when they think they do (so good luck booking that tricky reservation) * Resy sends text messages posing as the restaurant telling you to go in because there's lots of walk in room. If you go or call the restaurant, they don't have room, and are unaware texts are being sent * The Resy app sets notifications for times other than when you asked. I asked for a party of 5 next month and instead it set the notification for a party of 2 same-day. Thankfully I double checked. * Resy seemingly can't change the number of people in your party without changing the time, but doesn't warn you, so when you eg go from 6 people to 5, you get silently moved from 6:30 to 8:30. If you email Resy about this bug, they just tell you to talk to the restaurant, as if the restaurant had anything to do with it. * Resy doesn't correctly reflect when and what sort of reservations restaurants in their system are accepting. We spent 6 weeks thinking a restaurant was only doing brunch one day a week and just booking very quickly, but in fact they do brunch two days a week and only accept walk ins for other than large groups at brunch. They said they'd ask Resy to fix it, but they have not. I guess I'm stuck using Resy for now, because these restaurants don't use anything else, but I'm going to start telling them about these issues directly, because Resy doesn't seem to want to fix any of this.
Wow such a terrible ui. Open table is 1 trillion billion times easier. Map is buggy, searching reservations is also buggy.
-Improved performance of list view and map.
