App performance is very slow. It takes minutes to initially load the map of restaurants, even before I'm able to set date and time. UI is also difficult. Map navigation to find restaurants is slow and clunky. Filters don't carry over as I move the map. Why can't I search for a specific restaurant? It would save so much time.
Only used while planning visit to new york city. Completely useless and delays available reservations alerts causing missed opportunities. Used open table for our trip with much more satisfaction and good loyalty program.
I hate this trend where you have to have an app to do anything. Resy is one of those "early movers" who think this is a great idea. They also treat their users like children who are unable to add items to their calendar, remember reservations and plans they make, or to cancel reservations they can't make. In fact, I just got a text message from the GREAT team at Resy telling me I had to CONFIRM my reservation. Go eff yourselves.
If it were possible to rate this app at less than one star I would. Any resturauant that uses it is in risk of losing my bussiness
Lame app. Don't waste your time. Suddenly looking up and calling the restaurant sounds easy.
Trying to reserve breakfast at The Blue Box on Feb. 17. Got as far as put on notify between 10-4:30. Does this mean all booked? How do you know what time is being considered? Had to get on two notify lists as I have a party of six. Seems they don't take six.
