Just saw you on Sharktank. Congrats on the deal! Kudos to you, your mission, and your business. I am a parent and love what you're doing. I did not hear these features mentioned on Sharktank, but for parents there are two which would be an ultimate selling point. #1. The ability for parents to automatically receive their children's composed messages which were flagged by the app (regardless of whether they were sent or deleted). #2. The ability to be alerted if the app is disabled or uninstalled from their child's phone. If these features already exist that's awesome and I'm sure I'll find them soon. Good luck to you in this and future ventures.
Shark Tank: 👍 Mark & Lori & her own parents are good role models & will give her the right advice & guidelines she will need. Over-Protective parents need settle down. Your intentions sound like they maybe good. But your actions do not show that. Tracing & spying on your kids. You will not earn your kids trust or respect. To earn it, give them the trust & respect they seek from you. They will come to you if something seems wrong by the role model you are to them. Parents who give their kids that technology while under 18, should be held fully respondsible. Your poor judgement will forever stick with them. Teach them the right tools & show them the opportunities on how to show good judgement to you. When you do this, they will come to you. So by the time they reach 18, they are ready & mature enough. Just as you wouldn't let them do anything else under-aged. (driving, drinking, smoking, rated movies) Technology is one of those same things. So set the right example to them, that you would want them to show you in return.
Thank you for using your gifts of knowledge to try to end those hateful posts. I wish it would somehow cause the electronic device to freeze or be disabled, if they choose to still send the post. Then they would have to talk with an administrator, parent, or their carrier to regain the use of their device. Extreme, but their posts are extreme to the victims.
What I think would be a big next. Would to set app to catch inappropriate pictures, videos and maybe links. I saw this on shark tank.
This makes no sense. Who decides what is oke and what isn't? If someone wants to bully someone they will always pres "no" and the person getting bullied can just block a person or just not read it to solve this problem. Kids are dumb and will not actually rethink what they are saying.
I just saw this on shark tank and I immediately downloaded it I am not a cyber bully or anything but this app really helps when I text people and it helps me rethink what I should say. Congrats on your app, my support goes all the way.
