My New Favorite Reading App I had to download this app for my textbook for my next security licensing exam and I'm hooked. Being able to highlight and take notes and then having it all organized into a study sheet for me is amazing. Plus the reading challenge aspect gives me a reason to keep going even though the text is dull. I'm looking forward to using this to read for pleasure once my exams are done.
Love It I really enjoy this app. I enjoy it even more because it allows me to scroll through the chapters vertically, instead of the standard. My only complaints are that sometimes when I'm scrolling through the chapter, there seems to be a snafu where it will skip to the next chapter even though I may have another 6 pages left before the chapter ends. Also I don't like whatever source they're using for the definition, not a fan. Other than that, I adore it
Annoying competitive approach I've got bookshout only because of two free books from a promotion. Only got to start reading them yesterday but I'm a voracious reader, about 100 books 300+ pages per year. I have an old kindle DX which does not allow to install apps so bookshout is only available on my phone. Turns out the app is all about turning reading into this ridiculous competitive thing about meeting daily reading quotas, attempting speed reading - and you can't switch it off. Extremely childish and ridiculous, won't come back.
Good App I really enjoy using this app for two reasons. First, I like how I'm able to set and track personal reading goals. The other likeable thing about the app is the selection of quality books for free. There was a problem at one point in which I was unable to open any books. It appeared to be a server problem. Nevertheless, they solved that problem and I haven't seen it since.
I love this for reading at night when my boyfriend is trying to sleep. I can turn the background black and the letters white so it is not too bright and keeping him up. I love it!!
Good app Usefull for following a book in multiple platforms. It's is very compelling to have a reward system and it might be a great opportunity to implement some social analytics theories usually applied to lifestyle apps to a reading app
