Great so far I downloaded Bookshout to take advantage of a promotional free book offer. So far it has been great. It has a good selection of books, and many classics and reference books are free. It is easy to navigate through the books by chapter. The only thing I don't like about it is that you cannot set personal goals within the app; you get redirected to the website. Still, the app is very enjoyable.
Great then not so much Getting monetary rewards for reading is great but since they have updated the ap my wordcount is constantly nullified. Also dealt with their support team about this and they were pretty much worthless. Im planning on finishing my current book and moving on.
Just downloaded Cannot open and does not recognize email or password! Worth less app if I cannot read my book.
Nothing but problems I got a promo book so I downloaded this reader. I'm glad both were free! I had already created an account but the app wouldn't let me use that email and password to sign in. Great. So I used the web version to check out my free book. I got about 8-10 pages in and a picture of annoying Newman from Seinfeld shows up waggling his finger saying something like "nuh uh uh... You didn't say the magic word. Uh uh uhhhh." Couldn't go anywhere after that. Couldn't turn the page. Nothing. Garbage. Uninstalling.
Lot's of glitches Doesnt return to where i left off. Sometimes the in process item keeps going & never stops. Difficult if not impossible to change font size. Won't use it again unless it's the only option.
Gratification I like access to lots of free new books, but the test will be finding classics and finding reads for...seasoned minds. Getting paid to read is an interesting experience to which I am adjusting. All told, thus far, a gratifying interaction with my oldest companions, books.
