The application is based on the assumption that the Chinese spoken language has four fundamental tones.
Chin Tonic is a tool that allows you to tune various sounds, vowels and not, using the four buttons of the interface representing the tones, and depict the conventional symbols of their progress.
In this way, even those people who are unfamiliar with the Chinese language can learn to be familiar with its mode of intonation, gaining a greater sensitivity to changes and getting ready for a more detailed study.
For this reason this app can also be considered appropriate for educational use and its ease of use is suitable for all ages.
The playful part consists in the ability to start backing tracks on which you can improvise reasons so tuned, playing "rap" on the bases under the terms of proper tunes of Chinese language.
Setting up the chosen sounds each one can virtually create his own vocabulary, his own virtual Chinese voice.
The production of meaning is not peculiar to and necessary for the game, because the application is based only on the tone of the language, not on the grammar.
Each sense-making that can arise from an improper use of the app is independent from the will of its author and can be considered as purely accidental.
Chin Tonic is conceived by Giovanni De Donà and produced under license of Diachronic Media LTD.

"I knew from a really young age that I wanted nothing more than to be a Singer/Songwriter. I’ve been writing for as long as I’ve been singing. And how long is that you might wonder, let’s just go with I’m in a permanent state of regression and leave it at that. ☺"
