Ratings and reviews

App is great especially if you want to exchange money BUT if you run into difficulty and want to talk to someone it's not so easy. That said its our go to for using when abroad. Very flexible and accepted in lots of countries. We have used it successfully in Europe, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia to name a few. Brilliant.

Only after you've gone through the rigmarole of signing-up does it emerge that the account being 'free' (as per the Revolute website) is a lie. The app also fails to recognise perfectly good passport or driving licence photos - every one of the dozens of photos I took were 'unclear' or had 'glare' according to the app, but not in reality. If you can't be bothered to be straight about what you're offering, and the account opening process involves rubbish software, there's no way I'm trusting you.

I’ve been using Revolut and honestly, it’s the best money app I’ve tried. Everything’s super smooth—from spending with virtual cards to sending money instantly to friends. I love how it tracks my spending and helps me stay on top of my budget. The savings feature is awesome too, with interest paid daily and no annoying penalties. I even dipped into stock trading straight from the app. The interface is clean, it’s packed with features, and it feels super secure.
