It's a nice app and easy to use
I've owned Cheetah Mobile products since my first smartphone. I've watched their development leap over competitors. They rollout new features freely, but when their 'upgrades' fall short or mess up something, it takes forever for them to address the issue. I continue to use this app with Marshmallow v6.x & a SD Card, because they screwed up their Pro version.
App worked great with my old phone. Just got a Samsung S7 and can no longer move or delete a thing. It always says I have to "select" the source. I do and it tells me to again over and over. If I am on an individual file/pic, it says it cannot be deleted.
Worked well up until update now when I delete a file, if I exit the app reload it go back ...boom... the file is back.. I know that feature would be cool.if you deleted something by accident... but I don't want ghost files reappearing lol
This app is chatty (you will want to disable notifications), it blooms with ads but it runs on the premise on delivering file access operations that would otherwise be terrible through the shovelled basic android apps. Funnily the app now works best on an old S3 (leaps and bounds better in performance than on newer model phones). Perhaps it is the recent changes that have impeded performance. Perhaps it is the monolithic design becoming a clusterf with each bolted on added feature making it top heavy. It would be better as a collection of apps instead. In process of trialing other management apps for many new and maintenance required phone versions.
This is one of the few really useful apps I know of and I have not had any problems with it. However establishing a network connection to a PC requires SMB1, and with the current threats of ransomware attacks (which have been using this protocol version to spread) there are recommendations to upgrade systems to use SMB2. It would be useful if this app could be upgraded also.
1,Big files, Duplicated Files etc for users to locate and delete them to free your storage!
2,Move recent files to a new tab, in order to protect user's privacy
