Needs 0 Stars, Ads in "ad free" version, Feature Creep This app used to be excellent, however; several unfortunate changes have severely crippled this app. Consider the following. -The mandatory built in galley with the inability to open pictures in another application. -The constantly running process that will annoy you with new files that still consumes resources when you turn that feature off. -A permanent link in the main menu to like them on Facebook. Keeps getting worse with every update. Ads in my ad free version, no way to disable unwanted timeline.
Great application! Using it on my original Motorola Xoom tablet. I do have a question though, I am trying to browse my Windows Network, but when i try, it just says scanning network, not showing anything. Actually it was because my screen went into hibernation mode, shutdown hdd, guess it cant go into hibernation mode while sharing. I just found this as a minor bug, but please fix on your next release, the docs link in the library tab does not point to the documents folder on my internal sdcard 0. Please update that so the docs link in the library tab points to the documents folder in the sdcard 0 folder. Actually all the library links -- images, video, documents etc don't point to my sdcard 0 paths like pictures, videos, images folders..How can I update those folders? Thank you! Brian
Simple operation of moving files from internal storage to SD card is now a night mare. I am asked to select from Recent, where SD card won't show up in Recent for some reason in my new HTC Desire 828. Whereas, SD card is recognized by this app and files therein are explored as normal. Why during the paste, it won't be seen in Recent is a mystery. Move operation use to work great earlier. The Cheetah Mobile team seem to have great new scientists in team, reinventing wheels. Frustrating. If it ain't broke, don't fix it
No More External Media Access Due to changes in Marshmallow, can no longer access Removable Media. Still the best file manager I've ever used (I've used several others), but I did rollback to an older version because I don't care for some of the new features, such as zipped photos being viewable in the Images overview. IMO, zipped content should not be visible unless you navigate into the file. It even replaced my separate network share browsing app. Can do root access as well. Fantastic all-in-one file manager!
Lollipop tablet This works perfectly for me. The description of "Highlights" is missing the best - Rename. Some downloads have enormously long filenames, what a treat to be able to rename with such ease.
Overlay Issues Appears on my Moto Z Force, File Manager will not work because of an overlay issue when trying to grant permissions to storage, camera, location, etc. If I remove app, phone works fine. Install app and I can't set anything up. Interesting. Great app and want to start using it on my new phone.
- Brand new home page with timeline, easy to check and operate recent files
- Enhanced app stability and fixed bugs
