The GPS is absolutely terrible. The app regularly cannot find common places by name and gives addresses that don't align with the dot on the screen. You cannot actually communicate with the driver via message due to the character limit. The app asks for driver feedback but they are quick to tell you there's no recourse within the platform, you can report it to the city. The App reply here does not align with their practice - they said there's nothing they can do when I had a problem.

Curb is very interested in hearing driver-related feedback and will gladly work with drivers to the extent that we can. As Curb does not employ or manage drivers, it is important that serious complaints are directed to the local taxi authority. If you have any specific examples of GPS inaccuracies please share with support@gocurb.com.

Installed and setup my account. The moment I put in the code for the taxi I was in, it immediately said my session timed out and when attempting to log back in the account was "locked" and I was given a message to email support. Useless if the app is going to fail the first time. My husband installed it ans the exact same happened to him not 5 minutes later. If your app fails the first time - it won't be used again.

AVOID THE APP IN NYC! Curb lies about its "upfront" pricing. I was quoted a $7 fare to go 12 blocks while I had a minor foot injury. I thought it would be $7 plus $2 tip. The bill I got was for $14.25. That's an extra $5.25 in fees that are not disclosed, including a $1.95 just to use the app. If you're going to market yourself with UPFRONT PRICING, include the fees in the quote! I live in Midtown, and there is no shortage of cabs. Following up on their response, I updated the app and tried to use Book Now with a promo. Over 5 attempts made to call a cab and every time, the driver changed. I cancelled because it was faster to flag a cab and paired with the cab. But the app is still spinning and assigning drivers. I ask the cab to pull over to straighten it out. The driver doesn't understand and closes our tab. We went 4 blocks! So I get out, start walking back to catch the one at the pickup spot because it looks like the Curb app is still trying to book a cab, even though I pressed cancel twice. Of course, as soon as I get back to my building, the app finally cancelled. So we flagged yet another cab. I only linked all my charges to Curb as to show there were 3 Curb events happening at once. It makes no sense! Always a nightmare experience.
