VIA doesn't have any tech support for this app. So if for any reason it's not working you're screwed. Their response is asking if you have tried uninstalled and reinstalled it. Doing this does resolve any issues you might encounter. I attempted to start using my account again after 2 years, and now I can't get in. I can't get the code to unlock my account. Par for the course with VIA.

sometimes its a good app, other times the via link driver will just wait 1 minute after I get a notification that it arrived, and most of those days I'm inside studying and when I get the notification, I have to rush to pack up and run as fast as I can to the pick up spot (I make sure I'm in a building closest to the pickup spot), but the via link driver leaves. It would be better if every via link driver waits at the minimum of 5 minutes.

Honestly, getting rid of the bus stops in certain areas was the biggest mistake. While the Link service is more "convenient", it's also a giant nightmare. I can do a set up, be surrounded by "virtual stops" that are within rock throwing distance but have to travel four miles to get picked up. There is no average wait time from when the ride gets set up to when the ride is on its way. It could be ten minutes or ten seconds and God forbid I don't make it in that one minute window.
