This is a very complex app and accompanying website that has many features. Took me a while to work out how to make everything do what I wanted (for example how to get it to leave the screen on during a ride and also how to download a route to use offline). Once I'd spent the time working it out I'm so impressed. The turn by turn navigation works superbly, and it seemed more compatible with Bluetooth sensors than Strava was. I now use Ride with GPS to plan my route and to track my ride, then export and import into Strava for the social aspect.
Honestly I want to give this app 5 stars because it is the only one I can find with route planning and turn by turn guidance along said route the way this one does. But it is kind of absurd the price they want you to pay for this feature. I wouldn't mind paying some but at $50 a year I might as well buy a Garmin
Is there a way to give zero stars? I created a map, went out and tried to ride it, and the street names and directions were completely wrong. It was telling me to turn onto streets i already turned on to a block back, etc. It was completely unusable. Hopefully they will refund my money, since it only took me 2hrs to conclude the thing was a joke.
This app never worked for me. Could never get it to map my ride. Then yesterday on the DRIVE home from work it started doing splits. I just deleted it. I've used cyclemeter in the past and will stick with it
App stopped working 500 M into ride. Lost whole route. Google maps recorded the route, so not GPS issue. Please fix.
I'd also love to give 5 stars. Instead of having a hit and miss search engine, an actual map that you can drag across to find routes on would be awesome.
* Resolves some issues with rides not immediately saving from Android Wear
* Many minor bug fixes.
