Zum is bringing flexible, efficient, connected and sustainable student transportation to school districts, communities and families across the United States.

We know that families are incredibly busy, so we’ve made Zūm easy for parents to track and manage their child’s school rides. With our app, parents can:
- Quickly view driver and vehicle profiles
- Track the location of vehicles and your child’s ride progression in real-time
- Receive pickup and dropoff notifications
- Provide specific instructions for your child’s driver
- Leave feedback about the driver or your child’s experience on the ride
- Easily communicate changes or cancel a ride if a child is sick or absent

I do like how the app is in real-time, for the most part. Even with some glitches. I do like the app. I'm stuck in the middle for now....more like a 3.7 Things that would make this app better: - Being allowed to have multiple routes under your child would be helpful. - Having cards for the children to scan to show attendance (doesn't accurately track your child if attendance isn't taken). - Having a way to track your students if you're a teacher would be great as well

Horrible UX. Constantly zooms in to where the bus isn't located and to a scale of a single block. So constantly have to zoom out manually to see a useful map. The map should auto scale to show the bus, pickup, and destination plus a 10% padding. Also notifications are flaky. It seems like the app doesn't work in the background so you must have it open for notifications to work.

Can't cancel ride properly Most of the times, this app is good. It shows where the driver is on real time map. But it doesn't cancel rides properly, only 1 ride (pickup/dropoff) can be cancel, and regardless how many times I clicked the other one. It just don't work. Asked help from customer service and it didn't make the cancel ride happens on my side. The app overall is okay, but need improvements of stability.
