The goal is to score as many points as possible by destroying hexagons while defusing the increasing amount of timed bombs. You will have to combine hexagons to create more powerful blocks and come up with a strategy to gain control of the board and survive the bomb invasion.

It's an amazing homage to Hexic. With arguably better controls. If I was to critique anything it would be that the red, Orange, and yellow are all a little too closely shaded with relation to the bombs. So that in the heat of the moment when going for that critical bomb combo, you may not realize it's a yellow bomb not an orange one. Love the game, add a way for me to pay to remove ads

I'm so happy they made this game into an app! I've missed it since it's been on the xbox and it brings back a great nostalgia factor. Great job guys!! Definitely need a free play mode that doesn't have bombs though... I hate them so much... 😡

Love the game. I tripped over a bug: in Diamond mode, a pair of diamonds in a triangle with a star collapsed and gave me points. Not sure how many. Frustrating, but avoidable. Oh, yeah, and yellow-orange, and orange-red are too similar. I confuse them at times.

Like it but The color of the orange and red is too similar.. And also the border of each hexagon makes some visual illusion that makes me dizzy.. I hoped that they can be changed

Looked a while back for an Android equivalent of Hexic, was disappointed to discover that there wasn't one - but now there is! And it's really good! Great job.

An excellent carbon copy of Hexic. I used to play the game religiously back in the days of Xbox 360, so I couldn't be happier to finally play it on an Android.

Very good Hexic clone! Sometimes can be a little screwy to control which direction the pieces turn. Easier than real Hexic but still quite challenging.
Close but missing the fact that star items can be combined regardless of color with a few extra bonuses. The colors are a bit to close as previously said. Yellow and orange in particular. That said it is the closest and best version of hexic I seen on Android
Unfortunately it is not possible to make bigger 'circles' than 6 hexagons. Love the game, but make it more interesting!

Hi, for some reason you sometimes need to start the app a second time for it to work correctly. Could/Did you try that? Thanks! Great game Similar to the old Zune HD app. Enjoying it so far. More playing modes would be neat for the future.
Perfectly captures the addictive gameplay of Hexic! Here's to hoping for controller support some time in the future.
Finally! Loved playing this game on XBOX! Really happy it came back.
Hexfall is great! This game rocks! I soooo missed playing Hexic!
Man, I've missed Hexic! This is the best Android replacement I've seen. Big thanks to the app developer for getting in touch with the guy who did the music for Hexic and making this game feel authentic. I can see all of the hard work you've put in!

Thank you, I really really appreciate it! For the music all the credits go to Urbex; he has put a lot of work into it and has been a pleasure to work with. 9gag fresh section Who else came here because they saw it on 9gag??
Nostalgia Love this remake of hexic. Would be nice to have an endless/zen mode
A great spiritual successor to Hexic I've wished for a long time that someone would make a game like Hexic for Android. This game does a wonderful job of that while updating the visuals to look more modern as well. I'd like to see a timed and survival mode added like in the original game, but the main mode is here and very fun. Nothing to complain about.
Awesome Been looking for a hexic like game for a long time, if you guys could make the hexagon colours nicer that would be great. I enjoy the game but the colours kind of seem bland
Fantastic! At last someone has done a proper conversion of Hexic to the mobile platform. Great job too with a couple of nice tweaks but still the original game experience. Awesome music too. Thanks for doing this it's one of my favourite games of all time.
Great job I always loved Hexic. But the fact that I can pause my current game and come back to it days later is EPIC!! thanks y'all
Nice It's a pretty good copy. It'd be awesome if they added more than just the star combos.
Faithful remake I have looked at several Hexxic clones over the years and this is by far the best I have ever seen. I would argue it even surpasses the original. The abilities of the new diamond piece is extremely potent when you first get access to it, but as with all great strategy games it becomes very balanced at higher levels. The fact that star rotation doesn't cause the bombs to tick while activating the diamond does is sheer brilliance. Good job!
Pretty good replica of the 360's Hexic Could you make the red and orange colors a little more differentiated? I find they are to close and my eye sometimes can't differentiate them well on a small phone screen. Perhaps a deeper red.

Thanks for the feedback. Interesting point you are bringing up, would you mind sending a screenshot to hexfall.contact@gmail.com? This way I could take a look at what you are experiencing. Hexfall captures the classic Hexic experience nearly perfectly in a portable package that doesn’t penny-pinch flood the player with ads. Selecting and rotating hexes is simple and intuitive. Bombs are fair and well-paced. The art style is more modern without coming across as over-embellished. Stars look like stars should and bombs are easy to spot. Scoring seems fair, with the use of multipliers being a fun touch. However, the diamond, which replaces the black pearl, unfortunately trivializes the game. The diamond is a free-move piece which allows you to select up to five neighboring hexes and then swaps their order. Regrettably, this new component is vastly overpowered. The classic Hexic experience completely vanishes once a diamond is on the board, no longer being about rotating hexes and working with the tiles that fall but rather simply swapping what you want until you have more diamonds. I very much hope the game’s author decides to modify this piece’s behavior to instead match that of the original black pearl. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of the original. Hexfall is very fun in its current form and could easily be a 5/5 game if/when a tweak is made.
No way to disable bombs Not fun to make oysters with bombs
