ProShot not so "Pro" One of the main reasons I bought the app was the option to shoot brackets. On my S20 Ultra, with the maximum bracket width of 1.9 and three pictures, I get the very same three pictures and differences are not visible. Instead of changing exposure or aperture, I noticed that the ISO changed between the pictures taken, but not the exposure (which is the point of exposure bracketing). So, the ProShot app does not have any advantage over the build-in Samsung app. Waste of money.

Hello, I am sorry about the error. There is a bug with bracketing on some Samsung devices where the same exposure is always taken. It has been this way for a few years, and Samsung doesn't seem interested in fixing it. I'm doing my best to find a workaround!

Used to be a little barebones.. that was 6 years ago. Now I am back to using it, and it's the most fantastic app ever! I might have a couple of quirks that I think I should email the dev. In particular for S24 Ultra - the zoom is a bit weird with RAW enabled, and slow motion does not seem to work (even when changing the settings). That's as much as I got for now.

Thank you for coming back! ProShot's gone through a lot of changes in that time, with more to come :) I'm aware of the RAW zoom quirk (or when lens mode is set to Manual) on the S22 - S24. It's sadly a bug in Samsung's camera2 API implementation. For slomo try editing the video in Samsung's gallery app, it should (hopefully!) add the slomo effect

This really is a first class app. I wanted to be able to more easily colour match my phone footage with my mirrorless camera footage and this app allows me to do that by offering std RGB, flat and log profiles. For the price, you really can't quibble, as it gives you a variety of manual controls that really expands the stock camera's usability. The one thing I would happily pay extra for is the ability to overlay a LUT, along with zebras to prevent over exposing the footage. Great product!

What's new

In this update we've added something special: Developer Controls.

Use these to resolve technical issues and push your hardware even further, including increasing the max shutter speed (up to 5 min), resizing the UI, and more. You can find these options in the Customize panel. We've also:

• Fixed and improved video and timelapse (intervalometer) modes
• Added support for media callbacks, so ProShot can be used by third party apps
