Love this app -- it's perfect. However, AT&T and Samsung have thrown us a curveball. It's new "Advanced Messages" do not get backed up. It is not this apps fault as even alternative MMS/SMS apps do not recognize messages sent with this option enabled. Could you please find a way to either Convert existing "Advanced Messages" or allow them to backup in addition to normal messages? Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Excellent..did just what i wanted it to After having to swap back and forth between phones I had SMS split across 2 phones. The standard backup and restore options on my LG G3 and Android insist on deleting everything in the receiving (new) phone and restoring just what is on the sender (old). This app merged the two together so i have all my messaging and call history on my phone.
Works great only one hitch The scheduled backup function works and was easy to configure. The only issue I have been able to identify is on occasion it won't copy the backup to my Google drive and it must be done manually. Fortunately to date I have not needed to restore anything so I can't speak to that but I have opened and viewed the contents of the .xml file and everything appears to be there. Great job Carbonite.
How can I complain anything about it It' straight. No ads, no confusion. Simply does the job. Necessary Instructions are laid out perfect. I thank the Developer for creating this. There should be more like you.
So Reliable and Professionally Done Just tried the Direct Wi-Fi method and wow I'm blown away at how easy and efficient it is. More power! Wish you had more apps available for Android. My humongous SMS history is safe! :)
I was given the impression that this app could backup to one's computer via USB, which isn't the fault of the developer but some rubes that lead me to this ap. None the less, I can't conceive of how the developer neglected to include that option. Why only provide backup options that require mobile data or wifi when I have a cable right here? Why do I have to login into another service to backup my SMS? Sometimes I hate the mobile data revolution, leads to nonsense like this and apps that don't work offline.
- Back up to the cloud without keeping local copies
- Limit local phone storage space used by backups (will not affect backups in the cloud)
- Manage queued backups that are pending Wi-Fi or failed to upload
- Option to only upload on Wi-Fi and/or when charging
- Better handling of Doze Mode during uploads
- Notification Updates
- Minor bug fixes
Undelete and recover your deleted photos ,videos, messages(SMS) and contacts
