New storage limit useless The old backup method let you pick a number of backups to keep. I set it a 7. The new method works on percentage of storage space, and the minimum it will let me set is 1Gb. This is ridiculous! I don't want 1Gb of text messages saved! Been using the app for a long time and now will look elsewhere.
I don't like the new storage threshold limit of backups. There should still be an option to delete old backups after a number of backups.
It works perfectly
Hi Team I am great fan of Sms Backup restore app. It has saved almost all my life term sms, I am now planning to merge some sms from my old Nokia phone which I have already on excel. I just need to add to the backup XML file. however I am unable to add the date format as per the XML. But I could add them as of today using old XML date format. Please can you help me in understanding how I can add the dates as per the XML file. Your help will really matters a lot.
Easy, fast & useful app This app was able to restore most of my texts. As stated in the F.A.Q.'s, T-Mobile "Advanced Messages / RCS" were one exception. The other exception was a single SMS text addressed to multiple recipients, sandwiched in a thread of all MMS texts. After selecting "Backup all calls", even WiFi call logs transferred with 100 % accuracy. I would rate it 5 stars if it were able to transfer the "Advanced Messages" as well. WiFi direct worked flawlessly to transfer between two Samsung Phones. Nice app!
- New UI and app icon
- View/Restore/Delete from Dropbox and Google Drive directly from within the app
- Ability to exclude selected conversations from being backed up
- Ability to see a list of records which failed to be backed up or restored
- Lots of other minor bug fixes
