Awesome Idea, Needs Improvement I enjoy the material design graphical interface and the minimalistic feel. However, the suggestions for clothing articles can seem vague at times, especially the suggestion "wear a wool hat". Maybe suggest thickness/combinations of clothes, for example "Wear a thin sweater and light jacket" or "It's sunny, how about some shorts and a sports top?" Or suggest footwear "Watch out for puddles! Keep your feet dry with boots."
Too minimalist in recommendation I'm sorry, it's too vague for me. "The more clothes the better" with no way to tell if it means "more" than yesterday, more than a t-shirt, more than last season. An indicator of the temperature would be helpful, I'm sure that extra bit of information would not overclutter the screen. App looks good otherwise, clean and nice colours. Just too minimalist for me.
A unique weather app Most weather apps are just too informative. This one is just to the point in what one should anticipate. Only problems so far is a lack of a future cast and some of the suggestions are maybe a bit to general. Otherwise this is a keeper for it can only get better from here.
Does what it says. Simple and to the point, like if I asked a friend what the weather is outside. Sometimes the messages are a little vague. "The more clothes the better" makes less sense to me than perhaps something like "Wear longsleeves and a jacket," that kind of thing. Still, a great app, though much in need of a widget.
Great concept and design... But I find the information given are somewhat inconsistent. Like, I once tried it in the morning before going to work, and it told me to wear a jacket. But when I rechecked 30 minutes later, it said that I should wear a short sleeves instead.
Inaccurate Great concept but execution is poor because of inaccuracy. After some use it looks like all it does is check if within range of temp and outputs a message. Don't think it takes into account later temp of the day, rain amount, wind chill, etc. A learning system would be interesting. I see some reviews say accuracy will improve which might be true but the whole idea depends on accuracy from start.
More accurate tips.
