Overall a big bet to make by putting existing content behind a paywall and forcing users to use this app solely to charge for the content. I'd be much more compelled to pay for the content if I could use any other app. Pocket Casts is great. This is sluggish, seemingly thrown together quickly as a proof of concept, and the interface is quite revealing of the hybrid web app technology such that design doesn't use native Android elements and is unrefined.
Thanks Super affordable and worth way more than it's currently priced subscription. Anyone that complains about it is bonkers.
Great content. Terrible app. Rarely do I download an episode with out it stopping and restarting. Or the whole app crashes. The shows that are on here are good though.
Probably the most annoying app I've ever used. No playlists or queue. When viewing one episode, no link to other episodes (SERIOUSLY?) Downloads is the tab I usually want but it's a pop menu that hides the play controls.
Edit: All content now on Stitcher Premium. Literally no single good reason for this app to exist out be used now. Sad! FIX THE BATTERY DRAIN. Have an LG G4 that can play 3 solid hours of a podcast on Stitcher and use only 10-15 percent of the battery. The first two episodes of Questions for Lennon dropped my battery from 100 to 65, 60% of the drain coming from this app. Ridiculous.
OMG, to be forced behind a paywall for previously free content may have been something I could've stomached if your app freaking worked, but slow responsiveness in the interface in the rare occasions it does work, combined with extremely common unrecoverable lockups make this thing almost unusable. Shame on you, Earwolf! This should've been ironclad before forcing us to pay monthly for a service we Android users can barely use.
