Hasn't been updated in a few months I am using my month free trial right now. Very excited to have access to all of Earwolf... the app works, pretty much, but definitely needs more work, especially considering many of these shows are paid for in a premium membership. Please continue to work on this app. Content is important but so is interface, especially when you spend a lot of time listening to podcasts.
If I'm forced to use this to access premium podcasts, it needs to be perfect. I listen to podcasts a lot while driving to work. My go to app is Pocket Casts, because it lets me keep track of my played and unplayed episodes, create filters, see how much is left on each podcast I'm in the middle of, but most important, it works great in a car. I can control it from the steering wheel (FF/RW), it pauses for a few seconds when I get alerts from Waze, instead of playing over it, and it has all important controls in the Android top drawer. This app cannot offer any less.
App still amateur The app still plays the podcasts after removing headphones. Cannot find older episodes of some shows in app, such as Never Not Funny. No widget to easily play/pause. No apparent way to remove downloaded episodes beyond listening until the very last second. Content is good, but delivery system makes me want to cancel subscription.
Would give 0 stars if possible Terrible UI with hardly any integration of current Tech. The content is hardly enough to justify being a long term member. Which sucks because they charged me for a full year and they don't provide refunds even though I tried to cancel my membership in time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this service.
Amazing content from earwolf, and I use it daily. However the app itself needs polish. Things like subscribing to favorites and automatically getting new episodes just plain doesn't work resulting in manually having to go through each podcast and look for new episodes. Also, it is impossible to remove from the system tray without force killing it.
as bare as bones can be Boy, this app is as barebones as barebones can be. The best I can say for it is it doesn't crash for me and the content is great. Unfortunately it's lacking even the most rudimentary of features that any given free podcast app would have. Can't create a playlist or delete downloaded episodes which is ridiculous.
