There's no reason or convenience in having the widget remote. It switches to the app, then opens it, then loads. Then you have to go back to the widget to use it. If it's not used for more than a few minutes, the whole process starts over. It's basically easier to leave the app open on the remote, it doesn't time out nearly as much. Plus the widget's HUGE and not even close to being worth the screen space.

There should be an option for what screen you want to load first. While I use the apps and channels menus, the thing I need to be able to do most quickly with a remote app is pause. If I get a call, with your app, I have to answer the phone then tell the caller to wait till I can get your app to pause playback. Also, I wish your "Continue watching" did a better job of staying updated. I can't trust it to play the episode I was actually watching. It often kicks me several episodes back.
