Know your child is on the right bus, at the right stop, every trip.

RollCall is the parent app for schools and bus operators that run on the RollCall school bus management system. When your child taps on with their smart tag or student card, you get a notification. From there you can watch the bus on the live map, all the way to school and home again.

• Check your balance, see what you have been charged, and top up in the app where your school uses RollCall Pay

Share access with carers
• Add another parent, a grandparent or a regular helper with their own sign-in, so pick-ups and drop-offs are always covered

Signing in is simple. Enter the email address your school has on file and the app works out the rest, including whether you use a password or your school's single sign-on. After that it stays signed in, so the map is only ever a tap away.

Behind the app, RollCall pairs travel smart-tag technology with GPS tracking so schools, parents and bus operators all see where students are, from tap-on to tap-off. Drivers complete Bus Guardian walk checks so no child is ever left on the bus, and schools get the real-time visibility their duty of care demands. Your child's data is encrypted in transit, and RollCall's information security management system is independently certified to ISO/IEC 27001.

Ratings and reviews

Overall, it's great that I can see where the bus is on the map, make any changes to routes or stops & notify of absences. I particularly love the push notification letting me know that my child is on/off the bus. I have selected push notifications as that is my preference but the app keeps changing this from push to email. If this can be addressed, it would be fantastic.

Fantastic being able to see when my child got on the bus, and the gps on the bus has saved me on so many occassions where I can see exactly where the bus is and how much time I have before I need to be at the stop. Excellent app. even when the bus has been held up in traffic or roadworks, the app has provided peace of mind as I can see where it is, and be confident it is still on its way. 100% recommend.

The one app that must work in a 5-minute window every morning/afternoon fails exactly then. Constant freezes. Phone sleeps and wakes - the bus sometimes stops moving on the map. And you guess: app freeze or bus stopped? Restart and it randomly errors out and forces a re-login. Several times a week. We only use it because there's no alternative. How do you ship a tracking app that can't survive the screen turning off? Why the session breaks? Fix state refresh on resume and stop killing sessions.
