The messaging feature is fun. I'm still waiting for my birds to get where they're supposed to, and to receive the ones that were sent to me. The gaming part, though, is weird and unnecessary, in my opinion. I would rather have this app help me identify local birds and collect them in my rookery than receiving a random bird every day and having to play those silly games to win XP.

love sending texts this way! new update made so it no longer shows the time each bird takes to send to penpals. I click on them, it just says "send" instead of the time. i cannot click on my friends friendslists in their profile like another user can, it just flips the card to the stamps they earn. When birds are visiting my roost it says my name on the top, not the owner of the birds names so i have no idea who's bird is which. id love to know where my birds are roosting roostingalaxy s23.

The UI takes some getting used to, but once you're sending messages by courrier penguin, happy little hummingbird, or garden snail you'll understand the joy. And you can see your message's travel progress in real time. There's no way to scan your contacts (maybe that's a good thing these days?), so you'll have to find friends manually. I'm confused why using someone's invite code doesn't automatically (or at least ask to) befriend them. The search works fine, though.
