Brought to you by King County Metro, Ride2 Transit is a new, on-demand service starting in West Seattle. Ride2 Transit serves two transportation hubs – Alaska Junction and Seacrest Ferry Dock. During peak commute hours, riders can connect to Metro bus or Water Taxi service from home, school, work or any other location within the Ride2 service area – provided that location is more than a quarter mile away from a hub. Hours of operation are: Monday-Friday 5-9:30 AM and 2:30-7 PM. Ride2 costs the same as a Metro bus ride; standard Metro fares apply. Pay your fare with cash (exact change), a Transit Go mobile ticket, or a regional ORCA card. When transferring from Ride2 to the Water Taxi, riders will need to pay additional fare, by having an e-purse balance on their ORCA card or cash.
