Route Spoofer is an open-source developer and QA tool for testing location-based apps. Instead of physically walking or driving to check how your app behaves on the move, you draw a route on the map, set a speed, and Route Spoofer plays it back — feeding a moving mock GPS location to the device, so the app you are building receives a realistic, repeatable location stream.
It is built for engineering work: reproducible route playback during development, regression testing of geofencing and tracking logic, and demoing location features without leaving your desk.
FEATURES
- Draw a multi-point route (A → B → C …) directly on the map
- Set movement speed (km/h) and emit interval
- Play / Pause / Stop control
- Loop modes: off, restart, ping-pong
- Live telemetry HUD and emit log
- Save routes locally; import and export them as JSON files to share a scenario with your team or move it between devices
- Foreground service keeps emitting while the app is backgrounded
- Interface available in 8 languages
HOW IT WORKS
Route Spoofer injects a scripted, moving location into Android's GPS and NETWORK test providers. It only functions in developer mode: you must enable Developer options and select Route Spoofer under "Select mock location app". Without that step the app does nothing to your device location. It does not read your real location — it produces a synthetic one for testing.
PRIVACY
No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. The app collects nothing and sends nothing to any server. Your routes stay on your device.

Note: Android only. iOS has no public mock-location API, so it is not supported.
