- Voice Guidance for Wi-Fi Connection (R2, R2 PRO & R3): We heard you, Android can switch between known wifi & cellular networks automatically in the background, giving you voice guidance stating wifi is connected and disconnected prompts. Some users found them to be annoying, and we agree. You can now set this WiFi voice guidance to off.
- Advanced Video Settings for R2-4K and R2-4K PRO: Take control of your video quality with the new "Video Bit Rate" feature. Increase or decrease the bit rate to fine-tune your recordings based on storage needs and desired quality.
App Launcher Shortcuts: Access specific app screens directly from the app icon by pressing and holding it. Clicking a shortcut will take you straight to live video, dash cam video, local video, or settings instead of opening the main app and then navigating to it when connected to ROVE Dash Cam's WiFi.

kinda worthless if it refuses to let me access my videos, it just loads forever and never displays any videos, but it sure will show me every picture in existence. it's not worth the windshield space it occupies if I can't get video off of the thing, why bother making an app if you're forced to remove the SD card to get footage of an accident. Absolutely worthless don't buy this.

Took a bit to get the App running. Couldn't figure out why my Android would not Sync with the camera. After about a week, my friend figured it out trying to use his iPhone. His phone prompted him that the new device needed a firmware update. Once that was done, everything is perfect. Don't know why Android didn't prompt that. But all is good now and the front/rear camera system is great. Recommend

Rarely connects to R2-4K Dual, fortunately the dashcam menu is pretty good so I can do everything without my phone. Managing downloaded files is difficult—there's no "select all" to delete, and even when I try to delete individually, the "confirm" button doesn't work (rear videos only). This might be a scaling issue since I use larger fonts for accessibility. The Help Center screen is nearly illegible because of overlapping text; this is why I suspect scaling bugs.
