Good sim. Some graphics could be better, some sceneries more expansive, some wind modeling easier on the models (plane sometimes crashes due to wind slamming it around immediately upon launch). Most models are difficult to maintain stability as though there's too much wind, or not enough mass in the model, but there are myriad settings to be able to manage these (though it would be better were these not needed). Good for mental resets, diversion, distraction.
I love this sim but it would he even better if we could have an f3a model like a Galaktic or Citrin. Us pattern flyers are always left out.
Been flying RC for years, everything from powerful 40% 3D aerobats with 32" propellers , to very fast electric ducted fan jets, 3D foamys, to 250 size FPV racing quads. I've used every PC Sim made. I have to say, this Sim is a steal and worth every penny, it has the physics nailed, it's on par with $200 sims. It may not have the eye candy or variety of aircraft / flying fields but that's not really necessary. Surprisingly, RC computer Sims are so realistic and accurate that it's possible to teach someone to fly RC aircraft and have them solo without ever flying the real thing. Admittingly, building and correctly setting up an RC aircraft is something that a Sim will not teach but a Sim is valuable tool that will help keep you from turning your hard work into a dirt embedded pile of toothpicks. Using the touchscreen for control naturally is not the best but it's doable. If I could connect my TX to this it would give the PC Sims a run for their money. Edit: Recently I installed this on a Nvidia Shield portable. The shield portable is basically a Xbox type controller with a powerful Android system/screen attached. I've found it to be very realistic to a real RC TX. Awesome job! EDIT#2. Two years later(Nov 2017), I finally connected my FrSky Taranis RC transmitter with an USB OTG. I'm amazed at how well it works, what used to take a PC with decent specs now is available on any Android device. It's also available for PC as well! Great job Rowlhouse! Keep up the good work! BTW, While I love the wasp quadcopter, I'd be willing to bet that adding a few more quadcopter models would really help boost sales. You already have the physics and scenery in place. Small, powerful, agile 250 sized racers are very popular, so are the larger 450-650 sized video "drones". Maybe a OSD option for FPV mode? Just a thought:)
After searching around the play store for a nice RC aircraft sim for a week or so, this is the one I kept coming back to each time I wanted to fly. Very enjoyable and nice looking. Its given me the bug to get back into flying. For the price of the full veraion, its unbeatable. Great simulator!
A very fun and easy flight simulator to use. Can get as complicated as you want and is always updating.
I love it, best physics, best plane selection, and I've learned haw to do some really challenging 3D manovers with this sim, my only complaint is that there's no like scale airliners or like even a bush plane, there's no like... Idk, slow flight planes with flaps or anything cool and challenging like that, I would really like to see some new models like the ones stated above. Also, pls add more trainer type planes, there's only one real good one, and all of my friends are still beginners. Anyway still a great sim, keep it up!
• Add Litermonthalle Nalbach indoor scenery by Detlef Jacobi.
• Improve object editing.
• Improve plane scaling.
• Graphical improvements. If upgrading on a low-end device, you may need to disable "Separate Specular" in the options if this causes too much slowdown.
• Reduce the wind strength in front of slopes slightly.
