This app designs a rectangular slender RCC column of standard height. It calculates required reinforcement for a given axial load for the given inputs.

Area of steel is calculated in square mm of steel. Then we can convert it into actual number of steel rods. For example, a 12 mm steel rod has an area of 113 sq. mm. A 16 mm steel rod has an area of 200 sq. mm. In this way we can calculate the number of steel rods required in the column according to our experience and judgement.
