Best C25K It has never crashed, and it plays nicely with both Audible books and Pandora. The lady announcer tells you info and pace after each interval, and after your run you get lots of detailed visual stats too. I'm in week 5, and I'm thrilled with how far I've come. I'm actually enjoying running for the first time ever!
Great so far Just completed first run and despite free two week trial have purchased as can tell it's a great app. A quid to get me motivated, running and fit? Well worth it.
Great app and great support Peer pressure... several of my friends are running 5K runs and have been inviting me along. I definitely am not there yet. But this app is helping. It works well with music apps, so I can listen to tunes as I run. The directions are crystal clear (Start running, start walking, etc.). The display on the webpage afterward (map of the run, broken down by each run/walk segment, with associated time, distance, and pace) is phenomenal! And now it works great with my Pebble, I can see how much time I have before a merciful walk, which keeps me going that last 10 seconds when I want to quit. But even better than the app is the developer. When I made some comments on the RunDouble FB page, he quickly replied with very useful information and moral support. I don't know if I'll ever get up to a full 5K, but this is most definitely a great tool in the quest. Now if someone could create an anti-shin-splint app... :-)
So far so good I've really enjoyed this app so far. It has a variety of programs (in the free version) that are great. The run tracking and statistics are good to look back on and see the progression as I've made improvements. I went on and got the pro version for the C25K program and it functions the same as the other options. It also syncs up so you can view the information through their website if you choose. I find it easier to work on my PC when reviewing data so that is nice. The next step will hopefully see some way of creating custom intervals/times. I'd love to be able to do a timing interval more than 30 minutes without having to resort to open run with no intervals.
Great starting tool! I couldn't even finish Week 1 Day 1 the first time I tried it, and now I'm about to graduate and move to the 5k-to-10k plan. I love this app and tell everyone I know about it.
This program changed my life. Highly Recommend. I started this last Oct. I've done 3 5ks, a 10k, and a half marathon so far!
