Just what I needed! I just started using this app to start running. I love how it has an easy user interface and I can listen to my audiobooks while using it. Pauses the audio to let me know when to start the interval and gives updates after each one. There are different plans you can follow...I'm using the couch to 5k. You can also select between time or distance. :)
Great for first timers Got this app to train for a 5k loved it started over and did distance instead of time to challenge me a bit more I use my Pandora and besides losing GPS for a couple seconds occasionally it works great....update My GPS never works anymore which really sux because i cant see if im improving or not total let down😠
Great overall Easy to use. Starts out at a pace that's not too easy but not too hard especially for someone like me who can walk for long periods of time but never ran for more than a minute straight. I also like that it syncs with Myfitnesspal.
Works great! Love the pace. Realistic for someone like me that isn't a runner. I listen to Amazon music app with wired headphones and haven't had a problem at all with music.
Hate Running Love the App I am not a runner by any stretch of the imagination, but I am training to complete a 5k in my father's memory. This app has been great at getting me motivated to run and making it seem like an achievable task. I love that I can play music in the background and the stats updates keep me motivated when I'm feeling tired. The fact that it automatically sincs with the MyFitnessPal app is a major bonus.
I have used other C25K apps but what brought me to RunDouble is that Android Wear integration. I like being able to see my stats on my wrist while I'm running. I don't use the in app music player but I don't have any issues with announcements affecting Google Play Music. My music volume drops about 50% during the announcements and then comes right back up after. I like how much there is is to customize the user experience. I also like being to review my run log on a web browser on my PC. I bought the full upgrade package and have used several of the programs besides C25K. Overall I really like this app.Is it perfect? Nope. I would like to hear updates based on distance. I also wish it would record split times. Its nice that I have an overall pace at the end but I would really like to see what my pace was for each mile so i can get a better feel of where I slowed down. The graph is okay but it jumps around so much its not really useful.
