About this app

Go for a run with voice navigation guiding you along the way, or take on a race. RunGo is the running app that gives directions.

* Please make sure "Location permission" for the RunGo app is set to "Allow all the time"
* Please make sure "Battery usage" for the RunGo app does not have background restrictions
* Please make sure "Text-to-Speech" is set to "Google Engine"

Please contact support@rungoapp.com if RunGo is not working as you expect.

RunGo is the most popular running app featuring turn-by-turn voice navigation.

Build your own route, or select one of the 500,000 routes or verified routes worldwide, and follow a voice-guided tour, including every time there's a turn or a cool landmark, or an encouraging reminder that you're halfway there.

It's 2022: you're probably beyond trying to memorize every turn, printing out maps, checking your phone’s map every block, or never doing anything new!

You’ll find amazing runs in running cities such as San Francisco, LA, Boston, New York, Chicago, Austin, Vancouver, London, Sydney, Tokyo, and many more. RunGo also tracks your run stats like time, pace, distance, elevation, and estimated finish time. We proudly include no ads in the app, and a paid premium upgrade is available for additional features.

RunGo was recently recognized as one of the best travel apps for your next trip and exploring the world, and how to find great running routes everywhere you travel.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"Great app. I have no sense of direction so being able to create a route and import it into RunGo is perfect for me. It's given me the confidence to run a bit further from home and in other towns when I'm travelling for work. I did have a problem with the app "crashing" after 5 or 6 minutes exactly but this turned out to be a "feature" of my phone, Honor 10 (made by Huawei). There's a battery saving feature that shuts down apps when the user doesn't use them, but they still look open. I applied the fix and RunGo has performed flawlessly since." -App Review by Louise Coleman

When my screen times out and turns off the app no longer tracks distance or route. When I next look at my phone the app draws a straight line from where I was last time the phone screen was on. No, my phone does not go into Bedtime mode as I've seen in another response. Screen normally darkens so it doesn't drain battery. Used to be a great app. I had run over 1100 miles using RunGo. Now I'm looking for another app.

Hi, that should not happen. There have been changes how Android does location, and our app has been updated significantly to work with that. When the screen times out, or you lock the screen, you should still have smooth GPS tracking and all audio navigation. Please contact us at rungoapp.com/contact, and we'll be sure to figure this out with you.

Confusing user interface. I opened the app for the first time and got a list of places to run, but tapping on the list does nothing, and there doesn't seem to be any car navigation to reach the start of the run. I went to the rungo website, but it only touted all the great things at the app can do. It failed to include any instructions about how to use the app to access those features. This app needs to launch a tutorial walkthrough when first opening it (or be more intuitive).

Pretty terrible. Voice feedback doesn't work properly and is always "off route." It will give voice turns for the first quarter mile, then just stop and won't track the route once the voice feedback stops. Once off route, it doesn't get back on route. There is no place to see only your private runs; they appear as part of the public runs and it is difficult to find yours. Creating runs in the browser doesn't immediately sync with the app; it's better to create runs within the app itself.
