I use this app for two reasons: I coach a group of runners and this helps the folks that arent as confident following written instruction and have no clue where they are going, and also because I am attempting to run every street in the city. It's super helpful, easy to use and I couldn't map the city without it. Great tool. Also tells me when the damn will hill will end!
This app is good for 90 degrees turns only. If you come to a fork it won't tell to bear right or left. It says nothing when you take a wrong route!
The ability to choose an activity besides running would be awesome. Biking, hiking, walking, etc. I started using RunGo in August and am really liking it for the most part. Today's activity didn't save for some reason but seems to be an isolated incident.
Make sure to turn power saving off for this app (I'm using MIUI9, XIAOMI Redmi 4x) and the app is good to go. You can easily import your gpx files from other sites into their site, analyse the route and add/remove voice instructions. You can even type your own bit of text and it will be triggered at whatever location. The issue of not detecting forks in the road can be easily resolved by editing the map and adding voice commands. Does exactly what I want it to do. I'm using the paid for version btw.
Great app. Easy to draw your maps. Pros lusófonos que se sabem ouvir em inglês, precisam mudar a língua padrão do Android pra Inglês. Daí funciona legal.
I do like the concept. Use it more often to track free runs as opposed to fixed routes. When I did use a pre-defined run, I found I was way off course without getting any audio notification. There was a recent update - guess I'll give it a run. I am using a Pixel, Android 7.1.2.
