Good app but a couple of issues. 1-The pace that is announced at the end of your run doesn't match the pace displayed in the history. It appears to include your warm up and cool down to your times. 2-The announcements could do with taking into account changes of pace. IE i have a 1min slow sector followed by a 5min fast so the voice "decides" to start telling me about my pace and distance etc and then says 3,2,1...
I have no idea why the GPS can't locate my position accurately, and it is why I only give two stars for it. I have tried lots of methods to help the GPS to locate, including using the mobile data and even changing the new phone, but it didn't be more accurate. Because of its worse accuracy of location, l have lost lots of miles. I really appreciate the application, so I hope it better. If it could locate more accurate, I will love it more.
This is an amazing app. It has something I've never encountered before called "story runs". I myself am addicted to the Mirror's Edge one. As a fan of the game, I found myself completely immersed in the story run. It's a definite must get, the app, and the story run. The GPS is great and it's nice to not have to search for your results and have them told specifically to you.
Notifications are not meant to be your spam platter. 3 non-essential advertising notifications in 1 day = Uninstalled. More prone should do this with apps that violate the notification space and maybe developers will start respecting the users and not try and capitalize on every possible marketing opportunity. Shameful practice and completely convinced me not to buy the premium membership.
Wow. I reinstalled this app after a few months of not using it. Ads, ads, and more ads! Advertising while running? Really? Completely ridiculous! And now you have pay for auto pause? That's laughable! What a shame. This used to be a decent app.
I have used the App with a Runtastic HR belt with mixed results. I am using a rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 2. KitKat 4.4.2 and a custom ROM based on 4.4.2 do not work. The bluetooth drops the connection. 4.3 is ok on both my note 2 and note 10.1 in a rucksack. The App counts Calories based on GPS distance, and I believe speed, and not your heart rate. I have queried this with the developers and I got a really quick response. They say that the request for its use indoors to count calories will be passed onto the software team. Not gone gold yet as I'm waiting for sprained ankles to repair! Gaz
