1. WAAAY to many ads smh. Nobody wants to closeout ads while they're riding a bike. It's just not safe SMH. 2. Not accurate at all under 10 square miles. It usually just shows a straight line from your start point to finish point and back which makes the distance way off. I took screenshots if u want to see results. Receptionist great on my phone and GPS works great with any other app leading me to believe that it is just this app that is the problem. It looks good but poor programming. Customer service said to update the app smh. Like thats not the first thing I did. Still the same issue.
I think the this is good
not accurate first time I used, it worked very well. then, I tried to used about 4 or 5 times, and all the times the app count an inaccurate mileage (kilometers where I live). u don't use the premium version and I really hope this isn't the reason of this ridiculous issue. please someone answer me. I really want to use it, but like it is, I can't even think to buy the premium version.
Does the job well. I commute 14+ miles a day 5 days a week, and often kick out the jams to make it a good workout. I used to use cardio trainer, and I liked the simplicity and layout of the app. However, I got a new phone and found that all my data would not transfer. Support from CT was nil. I find runtastic road bike to be an improvement. Well done. Nice design and performance.
Wildly inaccurate maximum recorded speed and sometime way off on GPS tracking. I went on a 49Mile bike ride today and it recorded my max speed as 104.91MPH. Other bike rides have max speeds recorded of 77.32MPH or 78.66MPH. At least twice it has added some VERY strange location data to the ride maps so I am fairly certain the recorded distances and therefor average speed for those rides is WAY off. I have a a BLU Advanced android phone with version 4.4.2 of the Android phone OS.
Inaccurate mileage. User error? TBD. The app recorded my bike ride as 8.93 miles, but my Sigma bike computer recorded 15.18 miles. My car confirmed 15.18 miles. 🚲 Otherwise, the app has MUCH to offer and the optional gear is a bonus. I'd consider the Pro version (and 5 stars) if the mileage issue can be resolved. Is it user error?
