No problem with the app, it does the job well (free version). I ordered a heart rate monitor combo to use it with my Huawei PRA-LX1 w/ Android 7, but it didn't work. The support team couldn't offer a solution but when I returned the product I got a full refund (product price and courier price). The heart rate monitor connected to a Samsung A5 2016, so if you have that, it should work.
I really like all the features but I ride a bike and I have a mechanical device that is set for my bike tire size. The app reads about 20% less distance I tried the Strava app and it reads the same as my bike. I just bought a new 7.1 Android phone and reinstalled the runtastic app and it still under reports distant. My son has an Apple iPhone and the runtastic app works great. We went riding together for a 10.8 mile ride and the app was exactly the same as my bike. I hope they fix this problem and I will start using the app again.
I love the app it self... Love the way that I could monitor my Speed, Distance, and My GPS works well...it is easy to use application......but Only problem is that the Voice Coach don't instruct whether should I go right or left... The voice coach just tell my Distance(mi) and How many calorie I burned...... Love the app.... I downloaded 2 Runtastic app here.....
1. WAAAY to many ads smh. Nobody wants to closeout ads while they're riding a bike. It's just not safe SMH. 2. Not accurate at all under 10 square miles. It usually just shows a straight line from your start point to finish point and back which makes the distance way off. I took screenshots if u want to see results. Receptionist great on my phone and GPS works great with any other app leading me to believe that it is just this app that is the problem. It looks good but poor programming. Customer service said to update the app smh. Like thats not the first thing I did. Still the same issue.
The GPS data malfunctions... Wrong distance calculated and messes up by not allowing to edit it either.. While Google map tracks the same trip very exactly...
Dumped this app almost as quickly as I installed it. GPS tracked distance 3x as much as what I actually rode. Would give it another chance if there were a way to manually edit the distance, but it appears there's not. Oh well.
